It's a truly fantastic experience, allowing you to influence every step of the design process.

CONSULTATION

The initial consultation allows you to discuss your ideas, wedding dress styles that you like, your thoughts on colour palettes and even fabric options.  The aim is to take your ideas and mould them into a design that combines all your favourite elements. You can be assured that the creation of your dream wedding gown is in the best hands.

Inge will advise and guide you on fabrics, fit and style to best suit both your figure and personality, as well as colour pallet and budget. Inge will then draw a design sketch based on your ideas to illustrate your gown.

​During the entire process you will have complete control over every single element of your dress.

​

Bridal consultations are R150 for a 1 hour consultation.

QUOTATION

From there Inge will email you a quotation. Should you choose to accept the quotation and move forward with Inge Coetzer Bridal Design, a 40% deposit will be required of the quoted amount. The deposit payment will be seen as an acceptance of the Terms & Conditions. Please make sure that you are aquatinted with our T&C’s prior to avoid any confusion.

CHOOSING YOUR FABRICS

When creating a bridal gown, fabrics are one of the most important elements. Inge prides herself on creating unique designs, by the collaboration of different fabrics and applique, resulting in one of a kind custom couture bridal gowns.

It is all about elegant detailing, and the fabric selection is where the magic starts. You will be provided with several of the best, hand selected fabric options to choose from. Once the fabrics have been confirmed and purchased, the process of making your gown will begin.

FITTING

The first fitting, which will be the first of 3 fittings (excluding your collection) will be the base structure of your wedding dress. Inge believe that the perfect fit is the most important part of a bridal gown, so should she require more than 3 fittings to achieve that, another fitting will be scheduled. In an ideal world, 3 fittings ensure complete accuracy, however Inge can work off less should it be necessary.

Depending on the time frame moving forward, all following fittings will be scheduled during your first fitting, as well as your collection date, where your gown will be fitted a final time. The aim is to make this process as stress-free and memorable as possible.
